Has anyone managed to get a refund from Orlando Attractions?

We had Universal and KSC tickets from Orlando Attractions from our trip in March which was then cancelled due to coronavirus. We can’t go again until 2022 so ticket extension dates don’t apply to us.

We’ve been asking for a refund for 3 months now and every time we make contact We just get ‘you will get a refund when we get the money from the theme parks’. Which I get, but how long are we talking? It’s been 3 months, are we looking at another 3, 6, 9 months? They won’t give us any information and I feel like they are just hoping we forget about them.

Has anyone else managed to secure a refund from Orlando Attractions?

That’s interesting that you got a refund straight away. It does feel like they are just trying to dodge our refund.

I applied a couple of weeks ago and they said the holiday deposit would be paid quicker but the halloween tickets would take a bit longer.
Still waiting.

This is interesting, I emailed OA a few weeks ago as we have purchased MNSSHP tickets and was told they were non refundable, has there policy changed now? Did you only pay deposits on the tickets or the full cost?

Mine were 3 day, 2 park universal tickets and 1 day entry Kennedy space centre tickets paid in full (about £800) - we were due to go March 21st and everything shut the week before so had paid for everything.

I’m getting frustrated as I don’t really know what my options are when all they keep saying is ‘you’ll get the money... someday’.

It’s also not very good that different people are having different experiences. Not very fair.

Disney changed the policy a week or 2 ago. I queried this with OA and they confirmed that the MNSSHP could be refunded and the hoilday can be refunded as well for Aug bookings.

They are normally non refundable but because of the situation with the virus that must have changed.
I had an email from them a few days ago asking what I wanted to do as I had to register them with mde by 10th to be allowed in the park ,. I had only paid deposits on them .
Last night I sent them an email saying that we wouldn't be going now this year, and could they give us advice on what to do.
They said because the dates for next years party aren't out they cant move them but they could give us a non expiry voucher .
I got the voucher just after 9am this morning.
We also had discovery cove tickets on deposit with ATD, my daughter bought those, she emailed them this morning and within an hour or so had a full refund which she should receive in 2 or 3 weeks
