Question MCO...Immigration with non family members

Can’t remember the process but sure someone will know...
We are travelling as a group of six, four from same family and two not.
Can we all attend immigration together or is it based on family name...ie...4, then. 2 others individually as singles.
First time we have been as a group so never come across the situation before.

Those who live in the same Household go up together.

Those who don't go separately.

But, speak to the Greeters as you line up to be directed to an IO, they will tell you what to do.

You will go up in families but as Tom said the greeter will ask you how many in your party/family and they will split you up. When my son went with his girlfriends family he went up on his own because they didn’t live together.

Last time we took our eldest boyfriend, greeters told him to queue with us and him go up first alone when called, he was asked who he was travelling with and as we were behind he pointed at us we got a wave from immigration officer and that was it, daughters boyfriend went through and we joined him a few minutes after.
