How long to clear customs JFK on saturday night ?

I am sure this has been asked before but was wondering how long it normally takes to clear customs in JFK (from heathrow) on a Saturday night in October...

We have nearly 4 hours layover so not worried about the next flight being missed but was interested in how this airport deals with travelers!

also - if anyone has been recently any recommendations on food in the various terminals ( not sure which we will be heading for for orlando!)

How long ? ... well, much too long ...

also depends on your status, if you're global entry, or returning ESTA it can speed things up

JFK is notoriously horrendous to connect at.

but you have 4hrs so you're good.

I understand its a busy airport and loads of variables - I was wondering if anyone has used it recently and had any opinions on if it will take a while

Would like to get dinner in the airport as we don't arrive in orlando until after 10:30
