Y'know, like anyone else, we spend a small fortune on the inevitable knick knacks and 'good' pieces; but I was having a clear out not so long ago and came across some old stuff. They were loads of receipts from shops and restaurants from a holiday 6 years ago, now, and we loved sitting and reminiscing over them. So while I love my good pieces, I couldn't bear to throw these receipts away and put them back for another go one day.

Not memorabilia but my late fater in law had been on splash mountain and came off soaked! The wife went to the shop near the Aladdin ride and bought him a disney shirt and myself a cowboy style sun hat. He hated the shirt said it was awful but loved my hat.

About 6 months after returning home he used to wear the shirt all the time he loved it and reminded him of Disney.

Myself, from the outlet warehouse we bought all the family a framed disney print with 4 disney quarters inside Mother had it on her wall till she passed and the kids all still have theirs up.

I have a Vera Bradley coin purse that DH bought me in the outlet store. Every day it makes me smile.
And a insulated mug from DLP which says ‘DHS Staff’, again in use everyday.

Not Florida I'm afraid - other coast. If you have ever stayed at Disney's Californian resort you will know it is all done in an American Arts and Craft style - think Frank Lloyd Wright etc. They had a lamp for sale in the store there which I just had to have. Virgin charged us $75 to fly it back - it was flat packed. To this day it forever reminds me of that fabulous hotel.

From Florida it has to be my Olszewski Cinderella Castle. Was in a massive box but persuaded them it was hand luggage:

My Mary Poppins obsession is real... my favourite item has to be the umbrella. It was a bit of a struggle getting it into the suitcase though

Wow, Geoffa, your two items are beautiful!

My favourite item has to be the Mickey head silhouette cutlery set we bought with our $200 gift card about 4 years ago. We use it every single day and it makes me so happy just to look at it - I love that cutlery! I would have baulked at paying $75 for it though, so to have got it with the gift card means it was free (despite the shocking amount of money the holiday cost us!).

Bit more low brow here ...

It’s either my musical tiki room snow globe (can’t help but dance and sing along to it) or my Starbucks magic kingdom mug. I do love a good bit of tat!
