Not sure if it’s already been posted but for anyone travelling today and landing mid afternoon - you might experience some extra delay as airforce 1 carrying a certain trumpster will be landing at mco mid to late afternoon according to mco twitter feed!

We had that with Obama when he flew into Newark.
Planes are not allowed to fly 1 hayride before and 1 hour after he left.

Years ago we landed at Gander in New Foundland to refuel (yes it was that long ago!), think we were on our way to LA. Air force 1 was on the tarmac. We had to stay put on the plane, not allowed off.

That reminds me of landing at Gander many years ago to refuel - when we left Orlando the temperature was in the high 90s, when we got off at Gander there was ice on the ground! A real shock to the system.

When Bush came to Sedgefield with Tony Blair it landed at Teeside airport. I have a friend who’s company’s warehouse gave them airside access. They were told the day before by the secret service that if they set foot outside their building they would be shot, no warnings and no questions asked
