Manchester T2 Fast Track
Hi everyone,
Has anyone tried the Manchester Fast Track security? The one that is £5 each. We did 4 years ago and to be honest it wasn't much quicker. (But was very disorganized then) What's everyone's experience recently? Worth it or not? Thanks all! 😁 |

it was just general chaos at the scanners so we don't bother with fast pass.
Give yourself more time and make sure to get out fluids, creams etc and any electrical items.i Put all cables, chargers etc in hold suitcase.

Depends what time of year you go. We go mainly out of school holidays and it’s not worth it for us. We would have been just as quick in the normal line. Manchester airport have an offer on at the moment if you spend £20 in duty free pre order online) you get 2 fast tracks. We’ve done that a couple of times

We did it 2 years ago, and like the original poster didn't feel it was worth it and wouldn't bother again. That was in term time though, next year we go in the Easter holidays, so atm we are undecided whether or not to do it for that trip.

As we only travel school holidays and early mornings, i would always buy it!( unless I’ve been given it with the airline)

We always use fast track as youngest has autism, it's been fine for us, never had to queue but I suppose it's down to time of year you travel

Manchester is our local airport, used it many times, we've never fasttracked.
We plan to arrive early to avoid any traffic stress, that way security queues don't make you stress you'll be late, they eat into the sat bored waiting airside time ! I'd say the average non fasttracked time over the years had been 10-15 minutes. Sometimes straight through, sometimes 20 mins to half an hour. Never to the point where I was getting frustrated or worried.

We were at T2 the other week and used Fast Track, got it free as I ordered something from duty free. We were through in 10 mins tops. There was quite a big queue for those not using Fast Track so I'm kind of glad we did. We arrived at check in 4 hours prior to our flight and the queue was also very big.
