So long as your ticket and accommodation were purchased together you will qualify for free dining for the duration of your stay
(not limited to the duration of the ticket)

However the lack of ticket for part of the stay means that for that part of the stay you cannot take your free dining inside the parks.

No It is a full package...I lost some benefits with ATD to get it at a similar price but so that I had it booked in one place... Although I am still holding off cancelling ATD just in case this goes pear shaped lol

Not sure whether to contact them again lol
That's a Virgin thing, not a condition of Disney's offer. If you do a dummy booking on the Disney site you'll see that you can book 21 nights with a 14 day ticket.

It’s probably a case of the virgin reps in store not knowing that you can have a 14 day ticket with a 21 day stay. Unfortunately they aren’t always the Disney experts they claim to be.

This exactly. It isn’t a Virgin thing, it’s a Virgin employee got it wrong thing! We’ve had a shorter ticket than our stay last year and many others have done the same.

Isn't it only an extra £20 or so for a 21 day ticket anyway? Might be worth upgrading to it to give total flexibility for your whole stay.

It is through Disney ...Virgin however £479ish for 5. I have tried to question this but get the answer I don't know...we won't be using it on either travel day... so for the sake of 5 days I am not paying this price... I would gladly pay the £100 extra but refused to be ripped off

I don’t get why they want so much from you. The price on the Virgin website is only £21 extra per adult ticket! Might be worth talking to a different person at Virgin if you do want the extra days.
