Budget car hire MCO - no queing

I've booked a vehicle via Expedia with Budget and was wondering if there was any fastrack scheme that I could join that would help me beat the queues?

Unfortunately not for UK customers. My tip would be for the drivers to go straight to the rental desk whilst the remaining members of the party wait for luggage.

The guy in front of us a FLL did this but he tried to get through customs with no luggage whatsoever and this peeked the CBP interest.

They asked him where his luggage was and he said it was with his family so he was told to rejoin his family and clear customs with them.

So I guess the moral of this story is, have some sort of luggage and if asked say you’re travelling with carry on only.

I disagree, you are supposed to stay with your luggage until you clear customs so unless you take your own case through there are potential problems if the rest of your party get stopped afterwards.

By all means run ahead once past customs and leave them to negotiate the transfer to the aim terminal at a slower pace.

I know lots do it, but lots of people do 75 on the motorway, just because it's done a lot doesn't make it right

Yes obviously the legal way to do it, but if I hadn't mentioned "the way" to do it, someone else would have replied and told me that's the way they always do it. Also when travelling as a family how many people can truly answer the questions - Have you packed your case yourself and is everything in it yours - because we all know that the sage advice is to spread you clothes around all the cases because one may get lost.

How do I respond when our 3 cases get checked and they ask me why have you only got 5% of the cases used by yourself and your Wife has the other 95%.
