Still so hot here in Essex 🥵
Looks like we might get some of the stormy weather this afternoon. I love a good storm and it’ll hopefully take the heat off a bit. Yesterday morning we had heavy rain forecast for a hour, 3 different sites all agreed - so I covered all furniture and put away everything I didn’t want to get wet. It got cloudy and I think we got 2 minutes of very little rain 😭 |

We are having a family trip to West Mersea today, surprisingly it's about 10 degrees cooler than here.

DH and I are sleeping apart now we have a spare bedroom so we don’t disturb each other. I had windows as wide open as the would go with a fan blowing. Slept pretty well, cooling the house down as much as I can before locking up when the sun comes around and shines in the house. Poor DH is a postman out in it, feel so sorry for him. He’s drained when he gets home, he darent drink too much for fear of needing a loo.

I used to live near there - one of my favourite spots in Essex. Enjoy
(Ps I used to swim off the beach by the beach huts opposite the nuclear power station - sea always was a bit warmer there lol) Edited at 10:46 AM. Reason: Spelling |

I can’t remember it being so hot here in Essex, and we’ve had some scorchers over the years. My flower beds are rock hard, I can’t do any weeding until we’ve had a good downpour. (Reasonable excuse !).

91 degrees in the City!
Went to the Chiro earlier and both he and I were melting with those stupid masks on. However I'm all excited. Bought a new 5m measuring rule I have wanted for ages. Little things please little minds as they say.

Thank god we're eating out tonight, sick of salad, it's so boring and I always feel hungry again an hour later...maybe it's just me 😆🐷🐽
