Yes I can do that. I can make the sponges in the morning and freeze them for a few hours

i hate you all!

i now need to go make me one of these for myself

tomorrow though, im doing brownies. this time it's dark chocolate and amarena cherries. maybe some sort of nut too. im thinking pecans...

has anyone else tried these cherries? i got them from lidl, and they are insane. imagine tiny sour maraschino cherries that are quite harder than you were expecting (in a good way) doused in a really sweet cherry syrup.




really sweet, so you can only eat a few at a time, but WOW! as an occasional treat, they are fantastic. i cant wait to dump half a jar into the brownie batter tomorrow

For a dark drip on a 6 inch cake I’d use 100ml of double cream and 80g of chocolate.

For a white chocolate drip, flip the ratio so you have more chocolate than cream
