We paid for UC tickets so far far too much to walk away from 😢 If the plane is flying and the borders are open we will be going. Happy either way now so long as we know soon what's happening.
OUch! yes I imagine it would be a hefty sum... hope whichever outcome you have it works out well for you

If I don't get my money back we might end up flying to get our money's worth and get deported straight back 😂

I jest of course, but it really is a lot of money to lose.

Thanks for the info 🙂
I read this on The BA cancellations thread and thought of you.

Virgin have announced free cancellation or amendment for all bookings up to 31st October so hopefully ba will do the same

So checked and found this form to rebook... hopefully it may be useful for you if you're not sorted yet.

Thanks - flying with VA and unfortunately this is only for Virgin Holidays as far as I know 😢 Virgin Atlantic still only allowing up until Sep. I'll keep checking though!

Oh crikey I'm such and idiot! I copied the link from the Virgin Atlantic site thinking it might work for you - but on reflection the 'tickets issued on any date' box is the one you need and 'Originally due to travel' to say 31st October.
Hopefully you do get to sort it out. Sooo sorry

Is this the case as it would steer me more towards cancelling October?
I was on live chat with MS last night. They put some points back for me so they're definitely still offering that option

Not a problem and easily done as I read it that way initially too. Thank you for posting about it. Will keep an eye on the website until my dates are covered x

I managed to finally get on live chat too eventually and they confirmed this 🙂 Just have to get flights ticked off first.

Hey lovelies,

Just wanted to say we managed to get Virgin to give us an open ticket valid until 2022, also DVC have said points returning to use year they came from, and all other bits have been refunded.

Just recovering from my long awaited surgery today too so everything is on the up 🙂

If anyone's got any Qs about the DVC pts being returned or the flights etc let me know.

We are going to treat ourselves to a 2 bed next year, and use the Virgin flights for 2022 🙂

Edited at 02:22 PM.
