Very responsible. If only the whole of the US would lockdown properly and kick the virus as much as possible.

It's not just Southern California...
The statewide order is effective today. These sectors will need to move activities outdoors if possible. Here's a list of closures that affect all counties: Dine-in restaurants Bars, brewpubs, breweries, and pubs ordered to close indoor and outdoor operations statewide Wineries and tasting rooms Movie theaters and family entertainment centers Zoos and museums Cardrooms Additionally, 30 counties currently on California’s monitoring list must close fitness centers, places of worship, offices for non-critical sectors, personal care services, hair salons and barbershops, and indoor malls, according to Newsom's order. The 30 counties represent about 80% of the state’s population. |

I'm sure San Diego where my brother lives started this last week, the rest of SoCal is following now. Bars that serve food can stay open , but ones that don't serve food have to close.

Bars that serve food can stay open if they have a patio where they can move outdoors to. Bars that don't serve food have to close. One of my favorite bars, a speakeasy type place that doesn't serve food, had to close. Judy C, you're right- some of these mandates went into effect in San Diego last week, as far as no indoor dining or any other indoor entertainment like bowling, indoor museums and family fun centers. Places like the zoo are still open because it's mostly outdoors, but they had to close any indoor restaurants (they have two of those) and exhibits. The hair salons, gyms, churches, indoor malls and other indoor personal care services were just closed today.
