From Sky News The French government says it has recorded 2,288 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours which is up 684 cases from yesterday
I really hope it starts heading in the other direction in the next few days! |

Italy?
we live in northern Italy and covid isn't bad at all at present time.
We are going to visit LAGO DI GARDA end of August,no issues there. Just remember that until September 7th FACE MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING are required by Government law; some places are more relaxed ... but eg in Milan,if you are caught on subway without mask, fine can be up to 200 euro. Anyway,WELCOME TO ITALY ! PS We should visit DLP end of September Edited at 02:02 PM. |

I wish they would put France on the quarantine list if they are going to sooner rather than later lol. We head there 18th August! Hoping to go but not if Quarantine is in place!

This uncertainty is just awful isn’t it. We are going (hopefully) on Saturday now. If the U.K. bring in quarantine then that is ok (not great though) as we will just stay in for 14 days. None of our kids are coming with us so they don’t have to quarantine. The problem we have is if it is reciprocated by France, and the travel insurance situation, although I have checked a travel insurance company that covers you if you travel against FCO advice and it’s £28 for both of us and we have EHIC cards.
Who would have thought that getting a train to see Mickey would b3 so hard/complicated! |

Dazed can I ask who that insurance company is? We go Sunday and that is what we are looking to do
If we have to quarantine so be it but if we can get insurance we will go |
