Have just booked a couple days in new forest - I know it’s going to rain but am really not bothered . Just to get away will be good - I intend to walk in the forest , have pub lunches and visit other attractions . Last few weeks have been awful what with possible redundancy and waiting for biopsy results ( they just cancelled today’s appointment two hours before 😡 ) so even being away in the rain will be a welcome break ! Hope everyone enjoys their UK holiday time.

I’d thoroughly recommend Jersey! We’re here at the moment visiting family. You’re tested For Covid upon arrival and it’s all very well managed. It feels amazing to escape the mainland!

We love Devon, especially Brixham near where you’re going.
I’m sure you’ll have a great time.
We decided to give up on abroad holidays this year at the beginning of all this.
We love going up to York for a short break around 3 times per year.
We’ve already been in Feb and also went last month.
Planning on going again in October.
None of us want to go on holiday where we have to spend most of it in a mask, so probably no abroad holidays until things are a lot more normal.

We love DLP and was meant to go at Easter. Would have gone later this year, but all over 11s have to wear a mask all the time walking around the parks. Our eldest is autistic and won’t wear one anyway, but I couldn’t walk around all day with one on 😕
It’s been almost 40 degrees there this week - imagine that 🥵
