Just to reassure we did it with 40 mins to spare before check in closed and that was even with the transfer being 15 minutes late (due to his previous passenger forgetting their phone and him having to go back). We actually landed early at Heathrow from Manchester. The drive from Heathrow to Gatwick took 50 minutes, so it’s definitely doable

I was just looking to see if you'd posted. That's so good to hear that you'd made it. We've got this booked in a couple of weeks time. Presumably you booked your pick up time as the time the flight landing time?

Hopefully BA won't be on strike on our travel days so we'll be okay so fingers crossed everything is okay.

Have a fab holiday.

Yes we booked it for our landing time, our driver did say they usually aim to be there a bit earlier. Hopefully your transfer goes as smoothly

Quick update for those doing this route. Our flight took off bang on time from MAN at 7:00 and we arrived at LHR 25 mins ahead of schedule. Bags collected and boarded on the National Express bus within 15 mins. Now on route to Gatwick. Bus is really comfy and roads are clear. Only issue is that we are going to be way too early for our 13:25 flight! Wishing now we’d booked the earlier flight. If you’re on the earlier flight you really have nothing to worry about. 🙂

The issue with LGW is its NOT in London., its not even within the M25.

For many travellers throughout the globe, this is unknown, and for many people, myself included, this is massively misleading.

If Gatwick is London, then cockneys live in Crawley.
