Snoring, ear plugs recommendations please

So we go to Florida in 5 weeks but it means I/we have to share a bed and DH snores so loud. I really am surprised that he doesn't wake himself up. At home I often escape to the spare room just to get peace and quiet. However we are sharing a villa with family and there is no spare bed. Not sure how I am going to cope for 14 nights.

Don't fancy the sofa so I am after advice/recommendations for ear plugs that work, really well to deafen the noise to an acceptable level. Have tried a few cheap, foam ear plus but they either fall out or don't do anything.

You can mold these yourself at home, very comfortable and you can wash them as an when needed, I use them for work and when on flights, cheap and cheerful but do the job.

Also might be worth trying the nose strips for your DH. I find they Def reduce the volume. Not a long term.option as quite expensive but excellent for a couple of weeks trip. Combined with ear plugs the combo should be better for you.

I would second the nasal strips. I use them at SWMBO's insistence when my snoring is particularly bad and they do help an awlful lot

Third the nose strips! Just ordered some more from amazon! They are life savers (especially because I really struggle to sleep in ear plugs)

Forget the earplugs and try boots sleepeaze snoring relief throat spray it’s fantastic! My dh bought some about a month ago and the difference it makes is brilliant! It’s around £13 (42ml)I think and so worth it! If he forgets to take it I can tell straight away! budge him awake to take it then peace 💤💤heaven!

I could happily have smothered OH on a regular basis due to his snoring, but either a throat spray or strip which melts in the mouth has worked wonders. He uses Boots own brand, and there’s often a 3 for 2 offer on them.

Hubby snores and I feel for you. We often sleep in different rooms because of his snoring. Sooo thankful for the spare room!
I've tried loads of different ear plugs and non work for me. I just have to make sure I'm super-tired before bed as I find once I've fallenb asleep - eventually! - I can manage to get a few hours.

On this holiday I'm trying something new. I'm going to download white-noise type sounds, like the ocean or rain forest, and play those to myself through tiny earbuds.
It's got to be worth a try!

I agree with kc1 and would recommend the throat sprays. DH has tried a few different ones, depending which is on offer at the time.

They have made such a difference, wish I'd got him to use one years ago.
