Do cast members check bands regularly then ? Just seems unfair if people can stay without paying the extra and spoil it for those who have paid.
We've never been but tossing up with that or another after hours event next year such as MK after hours.

You will find that the park will close 4 nights a week early at 6pm in October, so on the other 3 evening when they have the fireworks later etc, the parks will be a lot busier. While we enjoyed going in October we did find this restriction got in the way a lot as the knock on effect is felt in the other parks too on an evening.

They set up check points so to speak to direct and filter non paying guests out, however people can avoid that and do, however they can't get on any rides and cast members do ask to see bands when getting your bag for the trick or treats stations.
They know every trick in the book to shift people out of the park.

This will be our first time attending MNVSHP and we can't wait. We watched a couple of Tim Tracker vlogs and thought we should go. Last time we visited Disney we watched everyone arriving in their costumes and felt sad that we had to leave, so this time it was top of our list. I don't think it should be included in the regular ticket price and should remain a ticketed event. That way it stays special. But I do understand that Disney isn't a cheap holiday and for a family these events are costly.

you josh, but we did Mickey's Pirates and Princess Party when we went at Easter 2008 - just like the MNSSHP but with treasure - jewels and necklaces instead of candy to collect - yes the parks were closed off early once or sometimes twice a week -
for months - Jan til the start of June - about $45 a ticket. |

Claudette Yes it's a little disposable type band but is secured with a one way press stud. They supposedly change colours randomly as you would be shocked to hear that people try to enter with taped up ones, also hiding in the toilets etc There are always those that "chance it.." then normally say something like "We didn't know..."
TBH if it wasn't a hard ticket event I don't think it would be on at all, it would be a nightmare to manage! I believe the figures are limited to 15,000 versus a normal day of 25,000. I think the first one we ever went to was $45, walked on everything, met every character, this year I think we paid $95 & if it's anything like last year just enjoy the atmosphere as it was rammed! SD

I went last year, it wasnt crowded but good fun. They have different characters out .
Maybe speak to Disney and see if they would change them to an after hours event
