I pulled into the Congress Park car park bang on 5.30pm to see about 25 construction Guys having a briefing by the gaffer.
Never seen that before apart from on Civil Engineering jobs. Shows it's a professional mob doing the work.

Quite a few of the painters are Ladies. Nice to see them on the buildings.

In my day there was only 1 and she was the Canteen Lady and invariably smoked whilst cooking the food and dropped ash into the frying pan.

Balfour Beatty doing it according to permits I think. No surprise given they did Pandora, Grand Destino Tower and are doing Reflections. Nice to see a UK headquartered company as WDWs contractor.

Do you know, or can you ask if the studios will have a dedicated shower after the refurb or still the bath/shower combo?

I will try and find out but I lay my pension it will be a combo. Reason being some people which includes me won’t stay in a room without a bath

there is a studio near where we stay that has a roll in shower only if that helps

Nice to see Health and Safety at play on the site here.

A bit of a rain storm just now and the boys were sheltering under an artic trailer that was just resting on the bogie wheels.

Just the type of thing I used to do.

Talking of artics there must be 5 unloading at the moment. Both building materials and furniture arriving by the ton.

Just back from The Wave and pulled into SSR at 10.10pm and caught 3 briefings going on. Must be the 10 to 6 crew. I would say there was a painting crew, a general crew and who the others were I don't know.
About 50 in total.
That is one big night team
