Three - Pay and go sim card - advice

Hello,

I normally research these things myself, but im pushed for time at the moment.

quick question.

I ordered a three sim pay and go sim card the other day.

It arrived today and will need to be topped up before use -

Can anyone advise if its a simple case of topping up the sim card.

Then convert the credit to a add on - in this case - yop up £15 and then convert it ?

Just as you say but I would also make a call or text once you activate the add-on just to be sure it's all working ok before you leave UK.

Thanks - just trying to register this sim card and create an account but its error after error... reminds me of why i left three all those years back

This all sounds a bit of a faff compared to what we normally do, which is just buy a SIM with Xgb on it, stick it in the phone and away we go.

No need to register or anything like that.

I've just done mine. It appears to take 2 hours before you can actually login and register onto my3. I am still not able to login, but have been assured it will work. I am a bit dubious to be honest.

I have topped it up online and can phone people on it and have data, but the screen that says it can be used abroad says 'it has a problem' and the my3 registration page won't let me enter an email address.

My daughter had issues with hers, but I thought that was because she hadn't actually placed a call before she left the country. Her's is working now but it took many phone calls and online chats. i don't really understand why we are having so much trouble when everyone says it's easy!

As I posted above - I don't do any of that.

I just buy a SIM for £15 or £20 or something from the 3 store, put it in my phone and use it. No registration required.
