Flight Prices etc in October ?...?

We always go around mid sept and into first few days of October.However next year we are planning to do a few days in Nw York first and due to ice hockey scheduling we would have to go first three weeks in October instead. Just wondering at what point do the school holidays affect flight prices etc?

Anything up to around the 25th and then after that they're dear

So we booked 12th-26th for this October hotel only with Disney and when the flights were released they just weren't under �600 direct Manchester to Orlando
So I phoned Disney and moved it to the 9th-23rd and we got ours direct with virgin for �450 including luggage

So If I book for around October 2nd to 23rd should be ok you think ? Just wasn�t sure about school holidays etc

It will partly depend where you are flying from as some of the Scottish schools break up early October and get 2 weeks. Ours only get a week finishing up 10/10 but this year we are taking DD out the week before so going 3/10-18/10. We have boked Edin-Gatwick-MCO and it is the highest price we have paid for a fly drive but we did not book until April (medical reasons) so missed all the good deals.

I think that most of Scotland take roughly the middle two weeks of October, we are in aberdeebshire and this year our schools finish on the 10th back on the 28th. We fly on the 9th too Louise! Can�t wait

It would be Edi LHR JFK out as spending some time in New York then MCO Lgw Edi on way back...
