Disneyland Shangai to close temporarily on Sat

I know this won't affect many Dibb members but Disneyland Shanghai will close on Saturday due to the Coronavirus outbreak. No date set for its reopening.

Must be more serious than being portrayed if they’ve shut this down.
I read yesterday suspicion it’s come from eating bats or mice, accompanied by a video of someone tucking into a full bat, it was horrible!

There was news on Twitter of people leaving the quarantined area and going for the day to Disneyland and posting pictures of themselves

I have eaten bat and believe you me it is as bad as it looks - once tried and never again. Durian was an absolute pleasure compared to bat.

There are so many conflicting report about what is or isn't happening as far as public health warnings coming out of China no one is really sure yet about what is going on. It is also possibly the worst time of year for the authorities to keep the outbreak contained as literally of of China travels around for the New Year.

Edited:- The Forbidden City in Bejing is closing on Saturday too now.

We are meant to be going on the 10th March for a 3 week tour of China including a cruise. Have booked both Hong Kong and Shanghai Disney! Watching with concern now! 😢. Have sinking feeling we won't be going 🙁!

Snap, we’re going to Hong Kong on the 9th March, was just starting to relax and look forward to the holiday as the protests appear to have died down and now this.
