We’ve been a few times in August with our kids. I’d echo what others say. it’s very hot and we never managed full days. (park open to close) Also if this is your first trip with kids do you need universal? it’s a lot of extra cash to fork out when disney on its own will keep you more than occupied. I understand if this will be your one and only trip, as universal is great. depending on their heights they might not be able to take full advantage of the rides available.
