Which Miami Airport/close to airport hotel to book as a Dorian plan B if the flight is cancelled?
Hi all looking at options in case we can’t fly home Sunday night. We’ll probably book a couple of nights perhaps on separate bookings so we can cancel off if not needed 🤞.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to which hotel to book eg in the airport or short shuttle away as we’ll have probably handed the car back? Thanks in advance. |

We stayed at The Hampton Inn and Suites, Blue Lagoon. Free parking, free coffee, free breakfast and free shuttle. Really handy to walk out to different places to eat, shops etc., and very close to airport. We loved our stay here, and it always has excellent Trip Advisor reviews.

We like the Marriott and book club level. Breakfast, drinks, snacks included. Alcohol has a charge

First visit 1989, last visit March 19. Next holiday Washington, Key West & Orlando May 20. Planning Hawaii for March 21

Thanks all. Unfortunately as soon as we found somewhere by the time we got to payment details via a fraud check on DH credit card it had gone. We’ve now got a booking at the holiday Inn Miami west airport area. Not our first or even 4th or 5th choice but booked at least. Thank you!

We stayed at one of the Days Inn - it had a big pool, shuttles and wasn't far from the airport. It had a bar/restaurant and a gas station next door, but can't remember about eating places as it was just for an arrival sleep and away first thing next morning.

We stayed at the Sheraton hotel which is literally just across the road from the car hire return area. It’s a lovely hotel and not expensive either.

Sheraton- it’s directly opposite the airport and breakfasts are lovely.
Parking is extra, hope you find some where 🤞
