Mobile Gammon in coke zero?

I'm doing gammon in coke and forgot we've only got coke zero. Has anyone actually done their gammon in coke zero or am I best getting full fat tomorrow morning? We have got dr pepper but I'm a bit unsure about using that, worried it will taste different and DD won't like it.

Thanks just wasn't sure and have seen a few comments about not using it in a slow cooker due to the sweeteners.

I wouldn't use it because of the sweetners, Dr Pepper is really nice or get the full fat coke in morning.

Are the sweetners more dangerous in a slow cooker?

My wife uses the Nigella Lawson way and finished of in the oven with black treacle on the top. Tastes absolutely scrumptious.
