Just bought a GoPro hero 9

I wanted something smaller for video and have bought a GoPro hero 9

Anyone use one?

How are you getting on with the GoPro ? I nearly bought one but in the end went for the OSMO which I’m really pleased with.

Never had a GoPro (or similar) and was considering it.
The thing that's holding me back is where I'm actually use it (apart from Florida)

That was one of the reasons I went for the OSMO as I couldn’t justify the price of the GoPro just for holidays although I’ve used it for family gathering photos and video already. It’s so small it’s easy to keep handy in my handbag mounted on a selfie stick.

When we do eventually get the green light for travel I wanted to get a Go Pro hero 9 for videos mostly, but what are the pictures like? For Comparison my current phone is the Iphone XR and considering upgrading to the 12. Not expecting it to be as good though

There’s some really good YouTube videos comparing the different Go Pro models including picture quality side by side (found when I was researching although ultimately I didn’t go for the GoPro ) although both with the GoPro and the OSMO the “anti wobble” stabilisation feature is what makes them so much better for filming on the go compared with the IPhone and IPad. It’s a startling difference .
