There are some lovely birthday banners and cake toppers for HP, I got one for my daughter for her 13th and it's still used as they love it so much!

Tales of Toria Soaps do sorting hat bath bombs, they're white with a hat stamped on then when you use them in the bath, your house colour appears. I requested what houses I wanted as I got for Christmas gifts, she was super helpful. Maybe as a party bag replacement?

For my daughter one year we did 'magic' noodles - it was for a unicorn theme party - cook noodles in red cabbage, they turn blue, add lemon juice or any other acid and they 'magically' go pink. Never seen kids so delighted to eat stir fry at a party!

During lockdown we had a Harry Potter themed afternoon tea, I got a witches hat cookie cutter and used it to cut little sandwiches.

I did a Harry Potter party for my son a few year ago. He loved it.
I made a sorting hat and downloaded the sorting hat calling out the different house names so each guest was sorted.
I did a big photo frame thing so everybody could have their picture taken. It was the newspaper mugshot of Sirius. So everybody pretended to be him mad pulled that face he does.
I made wands for everybody from chopsticks and a hot glue gun and then painted them.

I did all the party invites like the Hogwarts letter. I made everybody a chocolate frog box and I printed a spell chart to go in the party bag too along with wands.


There is loads of stuff of pintrest, I actually really enjoyed doing it.

Just be careful, some 6 year olds won't have entered the Harry Potter world yet. Some may well be quite scared.
