In Yorkshire cheeky means you are pushing the boundaries, normally with your mum
“Can you do a chore” “No” “Pack it in being cheeky and get it done” So that would apply to a “cheeky weekend away” you probably should stay at home and spend quality time with the Kids ! But you and Hubbie head off for three days. I am a fan of a cheeky weekend 🥳 Edited at 01:20 PM. |

Does this go hand in hand with the "naked walks in the woods" thread, now that would be cheeky 🤭

From Google's dictionary:
Cheeky (Informal, British): (of something pleasurable) consumed or done in an unplanned, rather self-indulgent way. So, "having a cheeky Costa" means having a unplanned self-indulgent Costa. It's a bit of slang. A bit like how saying something is 'cool' doesn't mean it is cold or lower in temperature than it's surroundings.

I don't see the problem.
The word "cheeky" has a number of different definitions... It can be something rude, impudent, slightly disrespectful. Like the cheeky offer mentioned. It can be something that is playful, amusing and cute. Like a baby that has a cheeky face. Or it can be something that is done without much planning or forethought and/or when you probably shouldn't really do it. Like having a cheeky Nandos.
