I just checked it and it's offering me the following:

I'll probably do the $50 plan instead of paying Vodafone the £5 a day they want from me to use my unlimited data from home.

Acts as a second line on your phone - but you can still recieve calls and texts on your UK number. But make sure you turn data roaming off on your UK line.

You will likely get faster speeds too - as a local customer. Most networks abroad will restrict the speed of customers who are roaming.
If your phone is still able to receive UK calls ..are you still liable to the UK daily charge ?

Depends on the network I suppose. But I've never been charged for recieving calls in the US when roaming - even back when I was a teenager with a flip-phone on PAYG.

Just make sure you turn your data roaming off and it should be fine.

I have not heard of e-Sims before. Does this mean that I can keep my Tesco Sim in my new iPhone and connect through the T-mobile app? If so, that sounds like an ideal option for me.

Hi
Thank you the info. I’ve checked on Amazon and there’s a lot to choose from, what one do you use. Much appreciate the info.
