Scotland to Orlando Package Holiday Advice

We’re planning on heading back to Orlando in May next year. We’ve historically booked separate flights, villa and car from GLA to MCO. As it will be our first trip to Orlando in 3 years come May we’re going to get a package deal instead (hopefully a one off before we go back to booking separately). Tui appears to be the only one selling packages from GLA / EDI (we’re located closer to EDI) but they get awful reviews. Does anyone have any experience of Tui Villa package holidays and what are other folks from Scotland doing e.g. flying from LHR instead? Any advice gratefully and sincerely appreciated.

As above Virgin will be flying from Edinburgh next summer. The downside is they fly out on a Saturday or Wednesday and return on a Friday or Tuesday which isn’t ideal if you wanted a 14 night holiday.

We are booked to go in June from Edinburgh to Mco via Heathrow with BA (flights, car & 1st night at Cabana Bay). We have a villa booked separately as we like to know what we’re getting (location and facilities) rather than through the likes of TUI or Virgin etc.

We have a package booked with BA for January. Flights via LHR and accommodation at Pop Century.

For May we have flights booked with BA.

For October we are hoping to use VA as we have a cancelled flight to rebook.

TUI will be flying into Melbourne and not MCO.

We’re booked through BA flying via London. The only times we booked a package that included a Villa was through Virgin. The first time was fantastic but the second time the Villa didn’t come up to expectations. Since then we’ve always booked our villa separate so we know where we’ll be staying and know what facilities to expect.

we are going GLA to MLB next summer, it was the cheapest by far. No idea on the villa packages though.

We always book a fly drive with BA. Flying GLA-LHR-MCO. I’ve never used them to book a villa though so can’t help with that. We always like to choose the exact villa we want and not take a gamble.
