Refund on Travel Insurance?

I had a single trip policy with LV and once I’d had refunds from all flight/hotel/villa etc I rang LV up and asked whether I could do anything about moving policy etc. They said I could have a full refund as I hadn’t needed to use the policy and the money was in my account within 3 days. Excellent service and definitely will be looking at them first for any future trips

Tbh I hadn’t thought about the insurance I’ll see if I can move it to next year or get a refund

I have sent an email to RAC and will await their response - have asked for a partial refund seems as the holiday is not going ahead, will see what they say.

I was surprised as Holidays Extra contacted me and gave me 50% of my premium back. Didn’t expect any so was pleasantly surprised!

I got half my premium back from Holiday Extras Gold insurance, but I daresay it's only a gesture of good will
