At last! Received an email from BA that our internal flight (MIA - MCO) on 17 Sept has been cancelled. Just rang them and confirmed this means we’re entitled to a full refund of all flights under that reservation 😊
Managed to get our paid seat reservation refunded as well. Very relieved that’s sorted now and we can just wait for the refund (told up to 3 weeks). Then we can start looking forward to booking for Sept/Oct next year...

Hi, can anyone tell me who’s had a refund, do they refund to the card you paid with first ? I paid the deposit on a credit card and the balance on a debit card. Would obviously prefer the refund to the debit card ! Thanks

When ba refunded ours back in May, I paid part cc and part debit visa, they put back the exact amount I’d paid on both cards

Overall cases in the US are decreasing and cases in Florida have significantly dropped in the last few days, no one knows when the borders will reopen but the world has to start spinning again at some point, we can't stay locked up forever!

According to the Florida Cases thread the testing sites were closed for the weekend because of the impending tropical storm/hurricane. This may explain the drop in cases. Hopefully that’s not it and they is a real drop but we’ll have to wait a few days to see if those cases jump back up after they reopen
