South Korea - Seoul

Has anyone been ?

In 2022 it is my partners big 50 birthday and we fancy a bit of a Far East tour of South Korea, Singapore and Japan.

We were lucky to do Tokyo last year but do not know anything about South Korea - I tried to do a search for trip reports but 9 pages in any reference to Korea has been to do with the current pandemic - so thought best to ask here.

Really thinking of a few days in Seoul before moving on as we are more city / mega city type tourists.

My husband has been there with work and liked the place but said day to day living was very expensive.

We love the city holidays especially the asian ones like South Korea japan hong kong ect. Transport is good so easy to get around
