Amending BA holiday

When I looked online about changing the dates for our BA holiday in April next year, it said I could amend our dates for free online. However there is no option to do this.

When I call it just says the line is for urgent enquiries only.

Just wondering what is the latest date I could amend it to? Is it the same as flight only bookings at 355 days?

No point in me trying to get through if I can't amend to 2022 yet.

I booked on the deal where it can be amended- for March 2021, and they were allowing free amendments to April 2022.

If I click on manage my booking on the email they sent me and scroll down to seats- I can select this box.

I tried amend mine earlier online and it says to call an 0344 number. Did that and its just an automated message that tells you call 0800 number and rings off.

Rang the 0800, chose my option and it said nobody available to take my call and rung off

Not great.

Exactly my experience. I booked within the time frame to allow free amendments, only I can't amend it 😭

Does that mean (in theory when they answer the phone and allow online amendments) I can change to Feb 2022 already?

You can usually only change dates etc on a flight only online,if theres another element like car hire or hotel included its classed as a holiday and has to be changed via phone.Very frustrating that you cant get through on the phone though!

I assume that Holidays can't be amended online for some reason, I've never been able to despite BA saying that you can. 0800727800 this is the number I have used previously for BA Holidays, including yesterday. if it cuts you off just dial again.

As posted on other threads use the Freephone number mentioned above by Ben - 0800 727 800 but don't press any options and you will eventually get throught to an agent. Tell them you have a BA Holiday and they may need to transfer you again. There are a fair few reports on the DIBB in various places that this has been successful but patience is needed as the call centres are extremely busy with the large number of cancellations announced this week. Thankfully as your hoiday is in April next year Gelatoni you might give it a couple of days and try again. BAH can't be changed online. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Thank you. That number still isn't accepting calls but as you say not urgent so I will try later.

Just not sure how it works, whether I can change to 2022 or would I get a voucher for the deposit to use then...

The reason is that you’ve booked through a third party/travel agent and only they can deal with cancellations/changes etc.

BA (flight only) & BA Holidays (plus car or hotel etc) are separate companies; that’s why if you ring a BA number and select the ‘holiday’ option, you may be asked to call another number or the BA agent will advise they need to transfer you to a BA Holidays member of staff.
