Were they 100% about it being the end of August?
We have flights booked for October and want to move them but they won't give us a voucher as yet but haven't mentioned when this may change

We were supposed to be flying BA 25th September & had a email 2 days ago to say our flights are cancelled & we will get refund in next 7-10 days.

Yes thats what they said. They said they are currently doing September's bookings so wait toward the end of august.

Hi Roo...that is interesting... we are flying the day before 24th Sept... and so far radio silence from BA...just the std message that i can apply for a voucher. I will keep my eyes on my e mail now.

We were flying Edi-gat-Orl our Edinburgh flights were cancelled first then the whole lot were cancelled.

Super useful thread - I'm flying out in October half term and was about to try calling BA to find out whether i can move dates (or even better get credits) at this point. Slight annoyance is that i can get a better rate back from the tickets via ATD before the 2 months is up, but hey that's not the end of the world.

'Book with Confidence' is extended to the end of September at the moment. The likelihood is this will extend through October which is when they will award a voucher.

I hope so. Weve moved everything else so just need to change flights now x
