Flights /price/perks?

So i am waiting to hopefully book flights for next summer . Will go for the English school hols so 5/6 weeks in total. Watching flights and thinking best options. Indirect i dont mind as long as lay over is not too short to have to panic and not too long as to drag the already long journey. If price is close would pre clearance tip it for you over company and extras during flight? Not sure if a couple of hours wait at Dublin to pre clear at MCO or short stop at AMS then Virgin flight with drinks and just wait in que at MCO. What sways you flights for you?

Right now ba are doing great prices on fly drive (via London) but only going up to mid July at moment, so keep an eye on them coming weeks

AMS is Amsterdam right? That wouldn�t be a virgin plane on AMS to MCO.
