It's not just a rental that will disappear after a couple of days. It will stay on your Disney+ once purchased. Still think its way to steep though.

Yes it stays there, but will it not sometime appear on Disney + for normal subscribers, who will access it at no extra cost?

I have no doubt it will just in the same way that films appear on Sky Store for a couple of months before being moved into Sky Movies. It depends on how urgently people want to see it.

Having never seen the animated version my urgency is about nil.

$30 no way. Our local independent cinema is less the £5 a head and Vue were doing films for around £5 each.
