Holiday Quote Opinions

Went into the Virgin Holiday store yesterday and was quoted £6700 for 2 adults end of October 2019 for 15 nights:
Return flights MAN to MCO, PE both ways
5 nights with QSDP in Caribbean Beach, Pirate room (this was all they had left)
10 nights in Royal Pacific with Club
Disney 14 day tickets
Universal 3 park tickets

DH wants to book it but I’m not convinced it’s as good a price as it looks.

We are not overly bothered with getting DDP, as we like eating off site but if we got it at a good price we wouldn’t say no.

Thoughts on this offer? Only ever done diy before and never for October/November. It is in budget, I’m just don’t want to pay more than I need to.

Have you priced up elsewhere...even with PE this seems quite a lot but my budget and specifications are different as I have 3 children.
I think they have got people panicking for Oct/Nov because of the opening of Star Wars land .
On the other hand if this is in budget and you are happy with what you are getting go for it

Seems a bit pricey to me as we did similar holiday but with child as well and it was about the same price - I would ask someone like Charter Travel to price up the same holiday to get a feel for how much you could save on this type of holiday 👍

I think it's expensive. My dad + stepmum have paid £5,400 14 nights in Coronado Springs (CBR was the same price) incl all tickets.

It included the DDP upgrade in that and they are flying PE both ways.

So based on that yours sounds expensive.

Theirs was with TUI. They looked at Virgin but it was a lot more expensive!

ETA: that was for Sept 19

Ring somewhere else and get them to quote and to compare. We have used Travel Planners and a few other places have been mentioned on here. If you were spending that much getting work done on your house for example, you would get 3 quotes so why not for this, it's just a phone call.

We have never done the full Disney experience so don't know re price and it is really up to you and you know what you can afford. My gut though is if you have asked Dibbers then you are questioning this price yourself.

Seems quite high to me this maybe because the end of October is school holidays - do you have to holiday during school holidays?
