A positive galaxys edge thread , what are you excited about seeing ?

I was initially annoyed it was opening before we go in September, however with the extra extra magic hours I am now excited I will get to experience it all and soak up what is found to be an amazing atmosphere and experience. I am a SW fan and think it will be amazing.

I love the investment of creativity and innovation, much more than the money they spend.

If we’re lucky enough to get on Smugglers Run I think I may cry at actually being on the Millenium Falcon but I’m excited to just spend time in the area.

I'm hoping to be there this time next year. And my inner 10 year old is jumping up and down about being in the cockpit of the Falcon. But, just generally being there has me giddy!

Lol, I love this

I thought wow at Harry Potter , I was blown away with Pandora , I’m going to be emotional in galaxys edge and probably in awe. If anything it’s going to be as good seeing the castle on Main Street for the first time

When we started planning to go back this year I was actually hoping it we would miss it.

But now that we know that it will be open, we can't wait. Even if we don't get to ride either of the rides, I will be happy just walking through the area.


Does anyone know how the area compares to the likes of Pandora size wise?

Looking at the massive queues whilst I get on everything else
If Smuggler's Run is as impressive as FOP then that, I'm not sure I'm as excited for RotR- just sounds a bit overly complicated to me

Not too fussed if I get to ride anything or not. I’m a big Star Wars fan and I’m so excited after how Disney did Pandora to see what they can do with a MUCH bigger franchise. The beauty will be in the small details.

They did Pandora incredibly well but, for me, The Wizarding World is still the most incredibly themed and immersive experience you can get in Florida. So I’m curious to see if Disney finally hits on something to match it.

I'm just looking forward to walking thru and soaking up the atmosphere. We don't go until mid October so hoping its not too packed. I don't expect to get on any rides as we are staying offsite.
