Fast passes are gone again! I know I’m expecting it but still sad to see it disappeared from my MDE! 😭😭

Watching a vlog last night and they said to maintain a 2m rule and to keep queue lines clean they not going to be using the standby line and temporarily just using the FP+ queue only and the single rider if the ride got it for non family groups.
Pre shows will not be used so I guest when you called you will just be told to go straight to the ride and CM’s will direct you to your seats.
So with the haunted Mansion you will just walk straight though to the doom buggy’s.

My ADRs are still showing! (no free dining for me, booked in January, was planning on adding QSDP nearer the time - maybe not!) I’m sure they’ll vanish soon...

Parades I can live without, sad about the fireworks and characters, although as this was a trip without young children it would have just been a photo op with Mickey and Minnie that I would have looked for anyway.

My fast pass window doesn’t open until late August - my trips not until October.

My guess was they have scrapped Fast Pass in order to use all the queue space to spread everybody out. Plus less people allowed in means in theory the lines will be much less. Even lesser because they will just be feeding off of one line rather than taking standby guests, then taking a FP guest, the a standby, then a FP etc.

I didn’t think about the preshows! That would be really sad - doing Haunted Mansion without the stretching room? Tower of Terror without the video in the library? Rock n Roller Coaster without the recording studio stop? That would be sad.

I’m very much a “make the most of a situation” person, so can look past the lack of FPs and slightly shorter hours and think ok what can I do instead? Extra dining at different resorts, bit of extra swimming, more time at Disney Springs and such.
But no EMH, potentially missing out on parks, and the inability to park hop possibly - makes me more anxious as to whether this will be worth it!

Problem is my flights and hotel are a package with BA so I currently have no option but to wait and see!

We’re staying (if we go) at Universal HRH, but have Disney tickets bought and linked to MDE before the virus. We were going to do an ADR, Savi’s and build a droid. But now, along with removal of fast pass, shows, meets, parades and fireworks. If you read the small print memory maker has also been suspended. So I’ve spent all this money for Disney tickets to basically have a lottery chance of possibly getting into the park and their T&C’s make it clear that this was never a guarantee anyway so not entitled to a refund. I know in another thread someone said they wouldn’t want the negative press and will somehow ‘goodwill’ the situation. But they also have to make their money back so far.

!
Now I would be delighted to skip the preshows. They are things I only need to do once, if that.

The uncertainty of gaining entrance, inability to park hop and no fast passes would be the deal breakers for me.

All FPP and Dining Plans have been removed from all existing bookings. The FP queue areas will be used to enable social distancing. Even with a ticket you need to book a slot to enter a park on a specific date. No hopping.
