Who else is a blood donor?

I give blood on Wednesday and was just wondering who else does? And how much have you donated?
I started many moons ago when I was 18 but only did it a couple of times. I then had babies, tattoos and piercings so could not donate.
I have since started again. Wednesday will be my 6th offering

I used to give blood, donated maybe a dozen times or so and would encourage anyone to try it, it really is quite simple. I was also on the bone marrow register but had to stop both when I got cancer. All good now but as far as I'm aware that means I now can't ever go back to it, please correct me if I'm wrong as I would definitely donate again if I could X

My husband has donated nearly 20 gallons.

They won't take mine. They think I might have "mad cow". You can't donate if you're in England for more than so many days a year. I think they might take it in a couple of years now that Mum and Dad have gone and I don't spend all summer in England.

I'm waiting for my levels to stabilise so I can give blood. But it's been all over the place this past year.
