Does airport change and time ...= refund ?

We have 3 flights only booked through go to gate via aer lingus in December ... I have rung up and they have said I can’t have a refund just a voucher to change flights for next year ... but when I have tried to do a little bit of research it’s saying that the only flight that day is to JFK at 11.15... we booked to fly into Newark departing at 13.30 Would this be reason to get a full refund plus I can’t see any flights out of MCO at the moment to Dublin either which would be our flight ?

Change of Airport would constitute a major change BUT they haven't informed you of it, it's your investigations so until they confirm that change it's you that wants to make a change hence the reason you are only being offered vouchers at the moment.

We had flights changed from LGW to LHR and BA refunded us in full.

You’ll need to be patient I think and wait for them to cancel. If you choose to cancel instead you’re not entitled to a refund. Wait for them to inform you of the changes.

Are you going to MCO connecting in Newark? I think they can change your route without refund but not your departure/arrival airport.

Think if departure airport changed then refund would be given. Looks like they have rerouted your stopover if I am reading correctly

Our Aer Lingus Birmingham to Dublin leg was changed to Heathrow, we got a refund as its a major change. But as said before AL have to inform you.

We land in Newark and have a few days in New York have bought our internal flights ourselves to Orlando separately so Newark is in theory our destination if that helps

Does a change of airport (from LGW to LHR) constitute a major change on a holiday booking (not flight only)? I've read the terms and conditions and it's not clear! Thanks
