Help with Hermes

I got an email yesterday saying my parcel had been delivered to me at 8.30pm (it was due between 4 and 6). It hadn’t. Then they emailed saying there had been a delay with my parcel and they’d update me today. 9.55pm last night there was a knock at the door and it was the Hermes man with the parcel!

I’d wait a couple of hours unless the tracker shows a photo of where they say it’s been delivered to - mine didn’t.

That happened with mine too,wasn't delivered at all,I complained ,hermes and asda insisted the GPS proved it was delivered!,it was strewn all over the garden in the rain 12 hours later!

Hermes always send me a photo of where they have left parcels and tbh we’ve never had an issue with them.
The other week though DPD claimed to have delivered a parcel, I was looking at the front of the house when the text arrived saying it was delivered with a photo. Erm, not at my house and the photo showed nowhere on my property! After contact with the seller and DPD though their websites, it was redelivered 2 days later (had been at a house 2 streets away!).

Arrived today after being delivered to a house in the next street even though the tracking says delivered to my house! Weird!

We got a delivery today which had a bit missing which you could see someone had taken from inside the box
Flagged driver down quickly who refused to take it as his van was full - um you’ve just dropped it off!
Stressed me out today
Managed to arrange a return and printed of label ready for Monday hopefully
Just worried we ll get blamed for missing part in box

Also have you checked it’s not been left in your recycle bin or side of house or something?
