I don't think that OP is saying Orlando is £2k cheaper than Tenerife but rather it's £2k cheaper than the Canada trip they had planned and MUCH cheaper than they could usually get an Orlando holiday for.

Absolutely correct.

We love Florida and this will be our 7th trip. As I touched on my partner is a school teacher and our usual expectation for a August Florida trip would be 6-7k (without food costs).

For us £4400 including tickets, flights and accommodation is seriously cheap.

Yes we will not have food costs included as we would in Tenerife but the difference in the what we will get in Florida in value, entertainment and experience wise is loads.

All booked this morning. Let planning commence 😊

BA have had great prices for July/August 2021 over the last few months. They’re almost not treating it as peak. A few friends have taken advantage. Go for it OP.

Yes we did... they were Manchester to Vancouver and the route has been withdrawn. They were with Air Transat.

We were offered Manchester indirect (via Toronto out and Montreal way back) but was a 4 hour layover outbound and 17 hour layover on the way home. We were offered LHR direct but they wanted another £900 and we were at the top of our budget as it was, so it will have to wait.

I’m finding the opposite at the moment- but finding any cheap flights for summer from
BA - usually book a flydrive for 4 weeks but not able to do our usual 4 weeks if we try and factor in a 2 week
Quarantine period looking for first couple of weeks of the summer holidays
