Help please... I am looking for a song and the singer..

Just watched Two Doors Down the Pilot episode and heard a song that was also used in Gavin & Stacey.
I know these words are completely wrong, but can anyone help... goes something like...

Pillow for my head and (something) for my bed,

Got a four bar heater and money in the metre...

Those are the only real lines I know and I think they are wrong...
