Splashbacks

Dibber

We have ordered a splashback but the way the photo would crop makes it not ideal to use .

We have painted the walls a very light grey and have black worktops and fingers crossed - new grey gloss doors.

Please show me your splashbacks as we have to decide on a image asap as they have already made the glass!

Our “splash backs” are gold old fashioned tiles

To be honest with digitally printed glass splashbacks the World is your oyster.

I would be Googling like mad for ideas as there are loads of firms out there offering this service. I know you have picked one but looking at other sites will give you an idea.

For example:-

colouredglass/product-...ital-printing/

Not my choice but shows what you can do.

We have boring black.

We have glass but it’s smoky grey. I originally wanted something more bold but then realising how quickly I get bored and change colour schemes lol

Ours is plain, it’s Farrow & Ball Dead Salmon. Are you looking for a theme?

Ha ha. I think it's a Chinese Junk.

From what I have read the advice is be careful about the image you use if you have taken it yourself.

It may look great on the iPad but when the maker enlarges it to fill a splashback it can become blurred etc. The advice is to use a professional photo not a DIY one.

I have glass instead of tiles all round my kitchen between top and bottom cupboards, behind the hob and around the sink, but as above, it's a plain RAL colour.

If opting for an image you have to think of the colour scheme and whether you will get bored with seeing the same picture. Do you have a preference for colours? What was the photo of which you've said won't crop well enough to use?
