Just so loved your trip reports Lisa. We had originally booked a different hotel for our stay but after seeing this have changed and booked Vdara for part of our stay. Looks gorgeous. Thanks for such entertaining and great trippies

That Vdara hotel looks ideal. It's on the list for next time we visit. I love "Ghost Towns" - haven't done Calico but did Rhyolite near Death Valley. They are indeed "creepy" but interesting places. Great to see how people lived back then.

The Vdara was the perfect hotel for us, definitely somewhere I would want to stay again when we next visit Vegas

Calico was brilliant, so interesting... I am going to have to look up Rhyolite, I have a new found interest in ghost towns now!
