How did you find out about the dibb
Just curious as to how some people end up on here?
I’ve been on here longer than it shows on my profile probably about 5 years more (I couldn’t remember my old username and had changed emails) I heard about it originally on a flight back from Orlando a certain dibbing couple who are unfortunately no longer on the site were doing a trip report and we got chatting and well the rest is history. I’ve been on here a bit more recently due to surgery which meant I couldn’t drive (I can tomorrow ) and I recognise some of the old timers but the site seems to be more dominated by some newer names now which made me curious as to where they’ve appeared from. Or are they just old timers with new names

My Son joined and kept going on about it. I then joined so he left!

I think if my children ever join I’d probably be asked to leave to

We were thinking of buying and met a couple we knew in Tesco who already owned. They recommend this and Top Forums to us. That was just before we flew over to look and as we bought I joined both.

When I was researching our first WDW holiday so probably around 2010, all the results seemed to be the American forums and sites which didn't advise me on the sort of holiday I wanted. I think I typed in Disneyworld planning for Brits and up came a link to this holy grail! I've probably been on every day ever since.

Mskitty and Essexsue are names that I know and of course Mr Tom, it’s interesting that there are still so many oldies. Goes to show that it’s not just a one time planning place 😊

I’m quite a newbie as I joined in 2015. We had already booked our first trip through Thomson but had no idea about planning (and Thomson were no help). I remember a friend I used to chat to on Netmums a few years before was a regular visitor to Florida so I contacted her. She gave me lots of advice and help in planning our first trip including pointing me to the Dibb. So thanks, Cloverlady 😀

I think I stumbled across it purely by accident whilst trying to plan our first trip in 2014.
How lucky was I ? ! Found absolutely everything I needed to know back then and managed to plan it "to perfection" (according to my wife). |
