Let’s Talk Vitamins

Hi Everyone

Spurred on by the recent thread on vitamin D, I decided that it’s time I look at what other vitamins or supplements may be good for me as I’m getting older.

For clarification, I don’t currently take any, but I know I need to as I won’t be getting enough from my diet.

I’m 39, and also have PCOS and Endo, so there are probably vitamins I could and should be taking to help with that too.

Are there any recommendations from others in the same situation?

I’m seeing more on collagen as a supplement, does anyone here use it?

I’m going to order some Vitamin D, so thought I would compile a list and try and get everything together.

I take extra Vitamin B12 and iron as I’m veggie.

A few months ago I had significant hair loss for about 8 weeks so I also took biotin. 👍🏻

Ooh hadn’t even heard of biotin, I’ll have to have a look. I did have stress related hair loss a few years back, which has rectified itself. But the treatment for my PCOS and ENDO has definitely made my hair thinner

My mum’s just been in hospital for 2 weeks, many of her problems came down to a lack of magnesium and she was given large doses. She’s feeling much better, and I’m thinking of getting multivitamins.
