You could go from HS via friendship boat to Epcot you can walk it but we have only walked it first thing in the morning or the evening way too hot in the afternoon for us.

We park hop but only after a midday break, so we'd have to head back out on Disney transport anyway...

The inter park transport is fine, you could consider the express transport if you want to park hop a lot it's between backstage areas so you skip bag check think it's $19 a day or $29 for week.
We hire a car now so don't use the buses but never used to have any problems.

you can hop from park to park but if you can just stay to one park

from the sound of it you haven't hired a car

its much easier with a car we will never do orlando without one

ok shuttle from hotel to park say 45mins-1hr dependant on how may stops it does also you are time restricted to pick up times

you could use public transport IRide to the stop opposite the seaworld car park then cross the road to the lynx 50 stop then to TTC at disney aprox 1hr but again restricted on times (last iride i think is 10.30pm)

in the parks
the easiest to hop to is MK to epcot on the monorail
all the rest are via bus or boat
you can walk from ecopt to disneyMGM but is 30min i think

No, you can get a bus direct from outside MK to any of the other parks. It takes about 20 minutes or so. It's probably quicker and easier than getting the monorail to Epcot.

Having said that, we rarely park hop and spend most of our days at one park. Last time we visited, I think we only park hopped on one day and that was from Epcot to HS via the Boardwalk area (we wanted to see what the Boardwalk area was like).

Even though it's fairly easy and straightforward to park hop, it still takes a small chunk of time out of your day. Which, in turn, means one or two less rides that day.
