My son has visited Langkawi and had a lovely time there. His photos are amazing, such a beautiful place. He did the cable car ride which had incredible views, stunning beaches and he visited the rainforest and saw eagles flying, waterfalls and went on a boat ride with monkeys jumping on the boat 😀.
He combined the trip with a visit to the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpar which was also an amazing experience. He really enjoyed his stay. |

I live here, and 14 days is definitely way too long to spend here - Singapore is really small!
As others have suggested, you could combine visiting Singapore with somewhere else in the region, or even with Australia. I know Singapore Airlines used to do pretty good prices on flights that went LHR-SIN-(somewhere in Southeast Asia) with a stopover in Singapore...

We are now looking at 6 nights (five whole days) in Singapore and then going to Hong Kong (with perhaps a stopover in Thailand). We have found really good flight prices so deciding very soon (by tomorrow). I am sure we can fill five days!
Do people pay everything by card (shops, restaurants etc.) or is it a mixture of cash and card? |

You can probably fill five days!
It's a mixture of cash and card. A lot of places accept card (most restaurants should do so, as will most larger stores and chain stores), but hawker stores and food courts and some places will only take cash. So probably safest to have both!
